Venezia Carnival

The performance is inspired by the history of the Venetian carnival when it was at its finest, that is between XVII and XVIII century. The most typical Carnival characters, most popular dances of the time, costumes and masks are blend together in comical and sentimental scenes performed using the techniques of Baroque dancing and pantomime. The bodypainting presented in the performance corresponds with the Venetian carnival clothing of the XVIII c.
