Multimedia spectacle “Wawel. Alchemy of light ”
legends and applications associated with the Wawel Royal Castle came alive in the authentic scenery of the castle thanks to an innovative form that uses, among others, visual art and 3D mapping. It was a kind of synthesis of arts, combining live music, painting and three-dimensional images, dance, singing and word. The spectators included outstanding artists: actors, dancers, musicians, multimedia and light specialists.

The heroes of the legends appeared in the arcade courtyard scenery due to illumination, special effects and animations. the Wawel Dragon, the Queen of the Vistula State, the Alchemist, Stańczyk, the prince Krak, and other legendary and historical figures brought closer the selected scenes from the history of the country and the residence of the Polish kings. The whole arrangement was completed by the Art Color Ballet choreography

During the performance, some of the world’s brightest 3chip DLP projectors were used, with a total capacity of almost 200,000. lumens. The images will be displayed on the screen about 120 meters long and 15 meters high, which in total gives about 1,800 square meters of projection. The surround sound will be provided by the quadraphonic system.

Animations made with various graphic techniques using the latest multimedia tools. 3d mapping technique, large format animation, film techniques and complicated work in the recording studio will allow you to fully synchronize the image, music and special effects;
